Candidates appearing at the event include Kimberley Yee, candidate for State Treasurer; Superintendent of Public Instruction Diane Douglas; and candidates Dr. Robert Branch, Tracey Livingstone and Frank Riggs.
Others are Arizona Corporation Commission Candidates Jim O’Connor and Eric Sloan; Arizona LD 23 Rep. Jay Lawrence; Fountain Hills Mayoral Candidate Cecil Yates; McDowell Mountain Justice of the Peace Michael Reagan; candidate for Clerk of the Superior Court of Maricopa County Steve Parsons.
Representatives from U.S. Rep. Candidate Martha McSally’s office and Candidate Dr. Kelli Ward for U.S. Senate’s campaign will also make brief remarks.
Complimentary light breakfast snacks, coffee, tea and juice will be available at 8:30 a.m. Campaign tables will be available for the signing of petitions and to obtain campaign materials. Each attendee will receive a “My Candidates Evaluation” sheet to rank the candidates on various qualifications.
A social time will follow the timed presentations. Candidates have been invited to attend the St. Patrick’s Day festivities that day.
The club will meet the third Saturday of each month at the same time and location until the Aug. 29 primary election.
All candidates have been invited for extended opportunities to reach the voters of Fountain Hills and Legislative District 23 communities.
Secretary of State Michele Reagan will be the featured speaker at the April 21 meeting. The club welcomes all GOP candidates and does not endorse in the primary.
The meeting is open to all. Reservations are not required. Independents are permitted to vote in the primary of their choice. Winter visitors are also welcome to come and learn more about the state they love to visit, with perhaps some possible plans to become permanent residents in the future.
