GOP election rally is Sept. 17

All interested voters are cordially invited to attend the 2016 GOP Election Rally and Picnic sponsored by the Fountain Hills Republican Club Saturday, Sept. 17 from 4-6 p.m. at the Fountain Hills Community Center.

The Saddle Bronc Grill will be catering the event with on-site grilling on the rear patio. The menu consists of hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, brats, chicken breast sandwiches. Side dishes include potato salad and coleslaw, and cherry cobbler with ice cream for dessert. Soft drinks and bottled water are included.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio will be the keynote speaker. GOP candidates and elected officials will also be on hand and have an opportunity to address the crowd. Those who have indicated that they will attend include State Senator John Kavanagh, State Representatives Jay Lawrence and Michelle Ugenti Rita, Maricopa County Supervisor Steve Chucri, County Attorney Bill Montgomery, County Recorder Helen Purcell, Mayor Linda Kavanagh, Central Arizona Project (CAP) member Mark Lewis and Candidates Jennifer Brown and Michael Francis.

Phil Lovas, Arizona Chairman for Trump for President, and representatives of the Trump campaign will be on hand to distribute and sell Trump campaign materials.

Seating for the picnic and the rally will be in air-conditioned comfort indoors.

Reservations are recommended for this very popular event. The cost is $20 for members with advanced reservations and payment; $25 for non-members and all those paying at the event. Children 12 and under are free.
