Arizona Republican Party Chair Jonathan Lines will speak at the next Fountain Hills Republican Club meeting Saturday, Nov. 18.
He will speak at 9 a.m. at the Community Center. Lines will outline the plans of retaining and building on the successes of 2016. Plans include the recruitment and training of precinct committee persons, registering new GOP voters, fundraising to support general election candidates and communicating the GOP message through both traditional and social media.
Lines traces his Arizona roots to the 1880s. His family settled in Pima, Safford and Thatcher before moving to Yuma in the 1930s. Lines began working in the family business while attending Arizona Western College and Northern Arizona University – Yuma. He currently is general manager and vice president for Lines and Lundgren Roofing and Installation. He is a partner in Tuscany Development, a 21-acre medical and professional development. He spent two years on a mission to Argentina and Uruguay.

Prior to being elected to the chairmanship of the state party, Lines served as Yuma County Republican chairman and as treasurer of the Arizona Republican Party.
As AZ GOP chairman, he also serves as one of three members from Arizona on the Republican National Committee along with an elected RNC state committeeman and woman.
Lines is married with 11 children. In addition to his political activities, He is involved in a number of Yuma civic and philanthropic organizations and is involved in the activities of his eight sons and three daughters.
Lines’ role in the primary season is to have the GOP remain neutral in sometimes hotly contested campaigns and then bring the party together to support the candidates chosen by Arizona voters.
