Known worldwide as the featured soprano soloist singing “Aria” in the PBS television special and video “Yanni, Live at the Acropolis,” Darlene Koldenhoven has built a career across music, film, television, recording and live performance.
And now Koldenhoven will perform at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, at 7 p.m., in the new Listening Room at Atticus Music in Fountain Hills.
“The event celebrates the release of Koldenhoven’s new memoir, ‘Put Your Dress Down and Sing,’ and its companion solo piano album, ‘A Grand Memoir,’” according to a press release announcing the upcoming event. “Audiences will experience dramatic and humorous readings from the memoir, live musical selections from the new album and an audience Q&A.”
