Grand opening March 11 for garden
Posted
Although seeds are popping through the dirt and some flowers already appear on tomato plants, the Community Garden has not officially opened.
The grand opening will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 11.
Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions. A guest speaker, vendors, plant sale and food are planned.
An engraved paver donation program has been initiated.
Each paver is 5.5-inches by 8-inches and can be engraved and permanently placed in the garden path. Up to three lines with 20 characters per line are allowed.
The donation for each paver is $99.
Visit fhcultural-civic.org and click on the community garden link. Pavers can be purchased online.
