Originally we were planning to spend the 4th on vacation, but plans fell through and we were “stuck” at home.
Well, it turned out to be an amazing 4th right here in our own town! We had a delicious dinner at Arrivederci. Excellent food, wine, atmosphere and service! The restaurant was packed inside and out. It was fun watching all of the families heading to the park.

We are grateful for the fireworks!
Originally we were planning to spend the 4th on vacation, but plans fell through and we were “stuck” at home.

Then we grabbed our lawn chairs, met some friends and settled on the grass near the lake. It was incredible to see the place filled with people of all ages. What a joy!
The fireworks display was excellent and exceeded our expectations! The fireworks were blasting in the sky directly above us and in the distance we could see the pyrotechnic professionals running around lighting the explosives! Incredible!
Thank you to the co-chairs for the event, Phyliss Kern and Christine Colley! Thank you to the town, the businesses, the veterans’ groups, volunteers and all who made this event possible!
An additional plus, enjoying fireworks at a lake with zero mosquito bites, a definite plus! Such a memorable Independence Day!
