Grayson Connor Allan Lioi

Grayson Connor Allan Lioi, 13 years old, of Gilbert, died Oct. 28, 2017 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born on May 26, 2004, in Cambridge, Mass., the son of John Lioi and Jessica Allan Lioi.

He was a student at the Eduprize school in Gilbert. Previously, he had attended Val Vista Lakes Elementary and Arts Academy at Scottsdale.

He was a beloved and loving older brother and friend, and a thoughtful, intelligent, and spiritual person. He enjoyed having in-depth discussions on many subjects.

He loved rock music and drums, and had the potential to be an accomplished drummer. He loved movies as well as reading, especially fantasy novels.

He is survived by his parents, John Lioi of Mesa, and Jessica (Allan) Lioi of Gilbert; his brother, Tristan; and sisters, Juliet and Susannah. He also leaves his grandparents, Phil and Judy Lioio, of Fountain Hills, Michael Allan of Thailand, and Lesa Allan of Fountain Hills. He is also survived by his uncles, Philip Lioio, and Scott Allan; and his aunt, Jasmine Allan. He also leaves behind many loving great-aunts and uncles, cousins and friends, all of whom he treasured.

Funeral will be at Messinger Mortuary, Fountain Hills on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 1 p.m. with reception to follow. All are invited. Interment will be Sunday, Dec. 3, at 10 a.m., at Green Acres in Scottsdale.
