One of the first things I like to do whenever I have some time from work is to support our local businesses.
It has amazed me how times have changed since the ‘70s where you had no choice but to drive “into town” (Scottsdale) for certain services or items. Today, Fountain Hills has just about everything you need and the local businesses deliver big time.
I decided to give Desert Dave’s Old Digs a try, my first time, with my wife, in-laws, and one of my employees. I had high expectations and was pleasantly surprised to find it lived up to them and then some.

I decided to give Desert Dave’s Old Digs a try, my first time, with my wife, in-laws, and one of my employees. I had high expectations and was pleasantly surprised to find it lived up to them and then some.
The steaks were mouth watering and the salmon was perfect. In addition to the great food, Desert Dave’s had a very pleasant atmosphere with a very polite and professional server and chef who greeted us with warm greetings and genuine care.
Thank you Desert Dave’s for a great start of a very enjoyable evening. There is no doubt I will be back soon!
