The Fountain Hills Theater had their annual fundraising party on Sunday and what a great time everyone had!
The theme was a beach party in the ‘50s and ‘60s so everyone could dress as casually or as formally dressed as they wanted, so everyone was relaxed and ready to party. The band was great, so everyone was humming to the tunes, dancing and remembering their youth. Yes, there was even a dance contest.
The theater had a night club-like act which highlighted the popular songs of the era, which was perfect. The room at the Community Center was beautifully decorated in bright, cheerful colors.

One of the town elders was there and commented that this was “the” party of the year for Fountain Hills. I totally agree with him. Having a party like this will make it grow larger every year when people learn what a fantastic event this is.
Well done, Carol Carroll, who chaired the event and made it happen.
