Great town

Just a note to thank Ryan Winslett for his article about local resident, Jeff Bruning, and his journey towards a better and healthier life with kidney failure.

I think it would be a great thing to show our residents close up and what they are dealing with. We are a great, caring community and should be concerned about each other. I know Jeff is grateful and has had quite a positive response from the article.

People as far as New York have seen it and called, or stopped by Paul’s ACE Hardware where he is employed. ACE management and employees have been so caring and accommodating with his health-related reduced working schedule.

Not to mention all the local town residents that have stopped by the store to wish him well in many ways. That is what a small town is about.

He has a battle in front of him yet and I know it means a lot that so many people care. That does not happen in a lot of towns. I am grateful to live in a place that still has a sense of what life should be. Great job, Ryan!
