Being Fountain Hills residents for seven years, we have had the opportunity to observe and use the services of many of the businesses located in our community. Many perform their daily functions (providing us with goods and services) relatively obscured.

We would like to recognize one of these providers and their personnel for the outstanding work they accomplish. After years in our home we needed to replace the carpet. Looking at several sources and the many choices of materials we chose Huds Custom Design Flooring, 16729 Palisades Blvd., to remove and install the new flooring.

The knowledgeable material selection assistance provided by Huds’ Mike and Mary proved to be above expectations. We selected bamboo flooring for the four rooms. I am disabled, unable to move furniture for the removal and installation of new flooring. Huds scheduled the installation and obtained the flooring selected.

This schedule had to be changed on multiple occasions (one short notice) and Huds was flexible to our needs. During the process of removal of old carpet and installing the new flooring Huds’ personnel handled our furnishings with extreme care.

On replacement of furniture they installed felt protective tips on the bottom of furniture to prevent damage to new flooring (a step above normal requirements). These personnel were always courteous and patient with our questions and requests related to where things were to be located and what was being done.
