Unknown to the worm came a robin red breast into the scene. “So you think you know something,” thought that robin about that worm. All day long that worm had gone about its business, in and out of apples lying about.
The worm was having a gay old time, not thinking at all, simply eating apples to its heart’s content. A worm knows about eating, but not about being eaten.
Worms we are not, but we too are having a gay old time, by purposely forgetting what we should not. Purposely forgetting is an easy convenience for us, literally “a not thinking,” like the dumb ones do.

As “death” crept into the scene it spoke – the robin ate the worm!
God did not make His promise of everlasting life to birds or insects, He made his promise to those people who think, and also to those not knowing their cost of purposely forgetting.
God’s effusion of love is the creation process in action. It is infinite and always occurring. On His side of the transaction His love is always being paid out. On your side, your tab is overdue. Show your love for Him today and make a payment, and then payments. Remember: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
