Harry Edward Weaver, Jr.

Harry Edward Weaver, Jr. passed away on Aug. 27, 2017 from lung cancer at the age of 75.

He was born in South Bend, Ind. May 18, 1942 to Harry and Lois Weaver. He is survived by his wife, Paulette and their six children, Dotty (Weaver) Edwards, David Weaver, Matt Weaver, Kerri (Phillips) Coveney, Lorri Phillips Aretakis, Ryan Phillips; and his sister, Pam (Weaver) Tefft. This was his “Brady Bunch Family.”

Their children have created 14 grandchildren and to date 23 great- grandchildren.

Harry graduated from Mesa High in 1960 and went to work at Mountain Bell. He retired from US West after 37 years on the job.

He always enjoyed life but his favorite pastime was spending weekends at Beeline Dragway racing, just waiting for that green flag to drop.

There will be a Celebration of Harry’s life on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 5 p.m. at his home; 15811 E. Chicory Drive, Fountain Hills. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Hospice of the Valley.
