Heart for people

I like Mike because he has a true heart for people! Yes, he has been involved in our community for the past 35 years.

He has a wonderful knowledge and background of our community, having served as editor of The Fountain Hills Times for several years and has participated in meaningful ways in the Noon Kiwanis Club, the Fountain Hills Drug Coalition and Sister Cities, just to name a few of the community organizations that have benefited so greatly from his involvement.

Mike has been a stalwart member of his church and knows just about everybody in our community. What is extremely important to me is that he cares about people in very special ways, especially people with needs. As the only Noon Kiwanian who has served two complete terms as club president, Mike has been and still is involved with hands-on service such as serving meals to parents and children who are awaiting medical treatment at the Phoenix Ronald McDonald Houses, or the Phoenix Rescue Mission, or taking clothes to very deserving children in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, or raising funds for Project Eliminate, or giving blood at the Kiwanis Blood Drives, or organizing the Centennial Project for new playground equipment at the Golden Eagle Park Tot Lot, or working to help neighbors at many Make A Difference Days.

They say trust is earned and Mike has more than earned our trust. Mike has proven over many years and in many ways that he cares about people, listens to their concerns, is dependable and knowledgeable about our community government, has the financial planning expertise and is the kind of individual we want and need on our town council. Yes, I like Mike!
