Heavy heart

My heart is heavy today, having read of the death of Bill Schweers.

I did not have the privilege of knowing Bill personally. However, I read his heartfelt, compassionate letters to the editor with empathy. He crafted them with diplomatic skill. Now I learn that he led an extraordinary caring life. Fountain Hills has lost one of its best citizens.

I and others will miss his contributions. Would that we would all emulate his lifestyle. Heaven will be his reward.
