After lashing California for the past few days, the weather system that brought flooding and landslides to that state is heading into Arizona with rain and snow.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for all of Maricopa County including Fountain Hills beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday, through 11 p.m. on Wednesday. Rainfall amounts are forecast to exceed an inch through Wednesday, with a chance of rain lingering into this coming weekend.
