Severe monsoon storms swept through the Valley Wednesday night, with Fountain Hills receiving a fair amount of rain and wind.
There are eight Maricopa County Flood District Control rain gauges throughout town, with the ones located at the Fountain Hills Fire Station and Stone Ridge Dam gathering 0.35 inches, which was the most received in town.
The gauge near Hesperus Wash collected 0.31 inches while the Hesperus Dam, along the north edge of Fountain Hills recorded just 0.20, according to the county site, while Cloudburst Wash also recorded just over a quarter of an inch with 0.28.
