The Association of Dog Owners Group is being revived at the request and support of a large number of dog aficionadas and dog park users.
The first goal of the association is to raise funds through members and donations in order to implement a number of noise abatement upgrades at the dog park. Pet rescue, foster and adoption programs are activities that will also be pursued as in the past.
In addition there is a list of dog park projects including grass seeding, sticker control and new greenery that have been suggested for consideration. The town’s budget alone may not afford these capital projects in light of other town priorities for the next few years.

The popular dog park provides an important off-leash exercise and social environment for dogs and their owners.
A kick-off fund raising spaghetti dinner will be held for all interested on Friday evening, 5:30 p.m., May 15, at the Presbyterian Church (13001 N. Fountain Hills Blvd).
ADOG Membership is $20 per year and the dinner is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Sheriff Joe Arpaio will be the speaker after dinner. Reservations are not required, just show up and enjoy a spaghetti and sausage dinner with salad, bread, beer, wine and soda.
