Easter is fast approaching, and those looking to celebrate the occassoin in Fountain Hills will have plenty to do.
The standout Easter event in Fountain Hills is the Easter Sunrise Service, which will take place from 6 to 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 5, in Fountain Park. The event is hosted by the Fountain Hills Christian Ministerial Association and will feature music, prayer and a message given by Pastor Jim Rizer of the Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church. Many churches will be participating in the event.
However, many Fountain Hills churches are also doing their own special services throughout Holy Week and on Easter Sunday. The following is a list of special events and services the Times Independent was able to confirm area churches are holding on Easter Week.
