Air pollution levels are expected to reach the unhealthful levels for some groups. People who experience respiratory problems are encouraged to stay indoors.
The Maricopa County air quality regulations also take effect which ban wood burning, off-road vehicle activity and commercial landscape blowers during the advisory.

High pollution advisory in effect for Wednesday

Due to windy conditions the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) has issued a high pollution advisory for PM-10 particulate matter (dust) for Wednesday, April 10, through 9 p.m.
Air pollution levels are expected to reach the unhealthful levels for some groups. People who experience respiratory problems are encouraged to stay indoors.
The Maricopa County air quality regulations also take effect which ban wood burning, off-road vehicle activity and commercial landscape blowers during the advisory.
Also, the National Weather Service is issued a Red Flag Warning for much of the state due to the fire danger associated with the windy conditions.
