Celebrating its 26th year, Hike for Hope is back at McDowell Mountain Regional Park for the community to enjoy fresh air while supporting a cause.
In support of unhoused, low-income and other disadvantaged individuals, Hike for Hope is a fundraising event by Saint Joseph the Worker, a nonprofit employment and educational service that assists individuals in gaining the skills and assets needed to obtain a quality job.
Formerly known as Hike for the Homeless, the name change occurred because Saint Joseph the Worker has expanded to help not only the homeless but anyone in search of employment.
