The United States has a rich history, starting with the first settlements by those seeking religious freedom, followed by the American Revolution with outnumbered colonists standing up to and defeating the established military power of England.
There were times of peace and war, and times of prosperity and hardship. We all studied history in school, but may have forgotten much of it after the final exam. However, our history is deserving of ongoing attention. We can learn from it and use its lessons to guide our future.
At the Thursday evening, Nov. 17, meeting of Fountain Hills AZ Tea Party, we are pleased to welcome special guest Larry Schweikart, historian, conservative thinker, and author of“A Patriot’s History of the United States.”

At the Thursday evening, Nov. 17, meeting of Fountain Hills AZ Tea Party, we are pleased to welcome special guest Larry Schweikart, historian, conservative thinker, and author of“A Patriot’s History of the United States.”
The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at the Fountain Hills Community Center. As always, all interested parties are welcome to join the meeting. Admission is free but donations to cover expenses are welcomed and appreciated. I hope to see you there.
