Six local businesses donated baskets to the annual Holiday Raffle at the River of Time Museum.

We are very grateful to Paul’s ACE Hardware who contributed gift certificates, decorated ornaments and greenery in their basket, CVS Pharmacy for a cuddly polar bear and cub, a Holiday North Pole DVD and decorative ornament, Meridian Bank for two bottles of wine and treats, MidFirst Bank for a package of Starbucks coffee and mugs, Petco for a variety of pet toys and treats, and Sears for a Craftsman electric drill!

Each donation was a great prize to win – and many people bought raffle tickets in hopes of having their name drawn last Saturday – but only six would leave with the prizes. They were: Mary Rumpco, Dee Raitto, Debbie Skehen, Vickie Thompson, John Riley and Anne Cat.

Many, many thanks to ACE Hardware, CVS Pharmacy, Meridian Bank, MidFirst Bank, Petco and Sears…great Fountain Hills businesses that give back to their community.
