Homeless count increases for Fountain Hills

Annual Point-In-Time count released

Homelessness in Fountain Hills jumped 400% this year, but that statistic alone doesn't tell the full story.

In 2024, one unsheltered individual was recorded experiencing homelessness in Fountain Hills during the Maricopa Association of Governments’ (MAG) annual Point-in-Time (PIT) street count which determines the number of people experiencing homelessness in Maricopa County at a given point in time.

This year’s count, which was taken January 27, 2025, identified five unsheltered individuals experiencing homelessness—a small increase in real terms, but one that mirrors a wider regional trend.
