Would you like to help homeless veterans but don’t know where to bring donation items?
Do you have extra blankets or sleeping bags? How about coats or jackets that you no longer use or don’t fit anymore? Gloves, scarves, jeans, belts, socks, shoes or boots?
Any warm winter items that a homeless veteran, man or woman, can use to help keep warm are needed…please drop off your donations to my gated patio and I will deliver them to MSVA in Phoenix!

Don’t have any items to donate but want to help? In the past some people have purchased inexpensive sleeping bags for donations!
I am also collecting women’s clothing for homeless women veterans! Recently the MSVA had opened a section up for homeless women veterans…and they were filling up! But last week, when I delivered all the items already collected, I was told that the Homeless Women’s section of the MSVA was closing due to lack of funding! I’m devastated that our country, particularly Washington D.C., seems to have forgotten our veterans!
I was also told that disabled veterans’ checks were cut, as well as many other cuts concerning veterans! I’m outraged that our veterans are being treated this way! As a nation we need to stand up for our veterans because when they were needed, our veterans stood up for our nation! These poor homeless female veterans who saw a ray of hope...have had it taken away!
All items can be dropped off at 17241 E. Ledferd Lane, Clear Aire (two blocks north of Shea off Saguaro, on the east side of Saguaro, second house on right on Ledferd Lane). Please put items inside the gated area. If you have any questions, please call 480-837-8969, leave a message and I will get back to you.
