As a fairly new resident of Fountain Hills, I am fortunate to have already had the privilege of receiving able assistance several times from the stellar men of the Fountain Hills Fire Department. I can’t say enough about their kindness, courtesy and professionalism.
I have no doubt that the man who set these standards and modeled these very behaviors was “Chief.”
Scott LaGreca was clearly an example of the best of public servant leaders -- and the best of human beings.

I think Chief LaGreca deserves an extra-ordinary tribute. I am asking that the good citizens of Fountain Hills -- every house, every apartment, every condo or duplex -- raise their American flag on the Fourth of July and hoist it on through Saturday, July 6, the day of Chief LaGreca’s memorial service as a salute to him, his family, the members of the fire department and all public servants.
Let’s show the world how the people of Fountain Hills care for those who so ably care for us.
