The American Legion Riders of Post 58 invites the public to attend the fifth annual Bike & Hot Rod Show.

The event will be held Saturday, March 22, at the Legion Post, 16837 E. Parkview Avenue.

The event is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend and participate. All proceeds will be donated to American Legion veteran charities.

Hot rods, bikes coming to Legion

The American Legion Riders of Post 58 invites the public to attend the fifth annual Bike & Hot Rod Show.

The event will be held Saturday, March 22, at the Legion Post, 16837 E. Parkview Avenue.

The event is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend and participate. All proceeds will be donated to American Legion veteran charities.

Bike and hot rod registration will go from 9 a.m. to 12 noon; cost is $10 per entry.

Judging takes place at 3 p.m., followed by the award presentations.

First and second place trophies will be awarded in the following bike classes – stock Harley, modified Harley, custom, antique, metric, bobber, women’s and a trophy for people’s choice.

There also will be first, second and “best in show” trophies as voted by the judges and a trophy for people’s choice in hot rods based on all entries.

Judging will include celebrity judge Robert Shinn, owner/operator of Evil Twin Custom Motorcycles in Mesa and has staff of judges that includes bike and hot rod builders and experts.

The event also will include raffles, 50/50 drawing, food and drink specials.

Live bands and music will be performed from 10 a.m. to at least 6 p.m.
