Following the highest average price per gallon in September in history, gas prices dropped 7 cents a gallon this past week, according to AAA Arizona.
The current average price for gas is $4.80 a gallon, which is still 99 cents higher than a year ago at this time and 16 cents higher than a month ago.
According to gasbuddy.com, the chepeast gas in Fountain Hills can be found at either the Circle K, 17125 E. Shea Blvd. or on 9618 N. Saguaro Blvd., both at $4.99 a gallon. The Chevron at 13779 N. Fountain Hills Blvd. has gas at $5.09 a gallon.
