Drivers are getting some relief at the gas pumps as prices dropped for the fourth consecutive week, falling 13 cents a gallon to settle at $4.28 a gallon, according to a news release from AAA Arizona.
While the price per gallon has dropped 48 cents in the last month, prices are still 70 cents a gallon higher than a year ago at this time.
In Fountain Hills, the cheapest gas can be found at the Circle K at either 9618 N. Saguaro Blvd. or 17125 E. Shea Blvd., at $4.53 a gallon. Trailing behind is the Chevron at 13779 N. Fountain Hills Blvd. at $4.79 a gallon.
