How Fountain Hills basketball embraces the haul of road games

Over 1,000 miles traveled

Fountain Hills girls basketball coach Tom Ferington expressed his preference of playing road games. 

For the first-year coach, it brings adversity and he believes it creates an extra edge when playing behind enemy lines. 

They’re road warriors. And rightfully so, as they will have traveled over 1,000 miles and spent nearly 24 hours commuting across their 10 road games through the regular season.
