A huge thank you to Jerry & Jackie Miles for opening their home to a large and very generous crowd last Friday evening to raise funds to purchase sculptures of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, thus completing our own “Fount Rushmore” joining with works of Teddy Roosevelt, Lincoln and Reagan.

We need $50,000 to purchase these two works. As of now we are right around $37,000 with several promised donations yet to come.

But we are still looking for art lovers who would like to have their names on the donor plaque for Washington and Jefferson. Donations of $500 or more will be recognized on the plaque, donations of all sizes will be recognized in the fountainhillspublicart.com web site.

So, many thanks to the generous donors who have stepped up so far, and a plea for just a few more year end donations to put us over the top. Again, thank you for your continued support.
