I would like to thank the voters of Fountain Hills for re-electing me to the Fountain Hills Sanitary District’s Board of Directors.
I was appointed to fill a vacant position on the board two-and-a-half years ago and have found the work to be both challenging and rewarding. It is not a glamorous position, but wastewater treatment is vitally important to both the public health and the environment.

The Fountain Hills Sanitary District is a first-class operation and I am proud to be part of a great team that works hard for the betterment of our community.
This was my first time running for public office. During the election, I met a lot of very nice people when speaking to local groups. Meeting with fellow residents of Fountain Hills has given me a deep appreciation of public service. I respect that our opponents thought enough of the role of the sanitary district to seek a position on the board of directors.
Losing is humbling. But winning is just as humbling, perhaps even more so. When you win, you realize that you have been given the public’s trust. That gives one pause and a deep sense of humility. Thank you for your vote of confidence. I appreciate the opportunity to serve our wonderful town.
