Henry Broge, in a letter to the editor which appeared in last week’s edition of The Fountain Hills Times, wrote racist remarks regarding PE Donald Trump. I can handle his baseless comments, he has every right to speak his mind, but here is where I draw the line. In his letter said while referring to PE Donald Trump, and I quote: “electing an orange crested ape to the presidency.”
A few weeks ago, in the small town of Clay, West Virginia, Pamela Ramsey Taylor, director of the Clay County Development Corp, made this remark on Facebook: “It will be so refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady back in the White House. I’m tired of seeing an ape in heels (sic).” Soon after posting that Beverly Whaling, the mayor of Clay, responded to her on Facebook by saying, “just made my day Pam.”

I’m tired of seeing an ape in heels (sic).” Soon after posting that Beverly Whaling, the mayor of Clay, responded to her on Facebook by saying, “just made my day Pam.”
The left were up in arms and the remark quickly spread across social media. The result of the racist comment was that Beverly Whaling, the mayor of the town of Clay, resigned and Pamela Ramsey Taylor, the director of Clay County Development Corp, was fired from her job.
Here is where I expose the hypocrisy and double standard that is the essence of the left. Henry Broge’s racist comments of referring to Donald Trump as an “ape” will not receive outrage and condemnation or even be mentioned by the left. It will not receive national exposure over social media or denunciation from the left-wing media. Henry Broge will not lose his job (if he has one) and I predict that he will not even write an apology to PE Donald Trump and all those offended by his remark.
Hypocrisy and the double standard are cornerstones for the unprincipled left.
