The mounted patrols are very practical for any town and especially for our Town of Fountain Hills. “Why?” you may ask. Because they help connect the town with the MCSO deputies who we contact for our police protection.
I have seen the engagement with the public, the children in our community, the senior citizens in our community, the residents in our community, our business community as well. It is a very important point of contact for our community.
This service is part of our ongoing contract with MCSO. These horses are very well suited, trained and taken care of. In fact, they get the utmost of care and treatment. Certainly, MCSO knows how to handle their own equine stable better than most because they have been doing it since the 1960’s!
