Many who live in the community have uttered the words “I love Fountain Hills.”

Those and many others are invited to join an evening of fun, entertainment and interesting discussions about their favorite community.

ILoveFountainHills, originally known as the Fountain Hills Cultural and Civic Association, invites the public to its 2024 annual meeting event, Friday April 12.  The event will be held at the amphitheater in Fountain Park.  The event is day one of the annual Flutter at the Fountain festival.

The annual meeting will be dedicated to raising awareness of the significant role the group has played in Fountain Hills since it was founded in 1978.  I Love Fountain Hills is a home for local groups like FH Community Band, FH Community Chorus, The Community Garden, The Dark Sky Association, In-Home Concerts, The Leadership Academy, Public Art Committee, Encore for More and The Fountain Hills Women’s Club.

The event will be offered in three parts, beginning at 3 p.m., when John Mack presents “The Human History of Four Peaks” in the tent.  The meeting begins at 6 p.m., under the stars and features dinner by Batchelor’s Pad BBQ with entertainment by Lisa Hightower.  Later, at 8 p.m. Vicky Derksen presents Stargazing and Star Stories. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about ILoveFountainHills, how they can make a positive impact in their community and connect with like-minded individuals and organizations.

“We are excited to bring together our community for ILoveFountainHills and shine a spotlight on the important work being done to support our culture and community in Fountain Hills,” said Mark Dalton, President of ILoveFountainHills. “This event is not only a celebration of our great group of volunteers but also a call to action for others to join us in creating a positive, active community in our great town.”

Tickets for the annual meeting event are available for purchase at ILoveFountainHills.org or Flutter24.Givesmart.com.   All proceeds directly support ILoveFountainHills’ efforts to create a community of strong clubs and organizations.  Emails can be sent to ilovefountainhills@gmail.com.

At the heart of every great community is a strong group of clubs, organizations and other entities that bring a unique flavor and experience to the public. ILoveFountainHills provides a platform for many cultural and civic entities in Fountain Hills to exist. Member organizations and programs receive banking and accounting services, 501(c)3 non-profit status, insurance, website services, marketing campaigns, and organizational guidance as needed. For some smaller groups, this makes all the difference when it comes to their ability to do what they do.
