President Trump has behaved in ways that make me feel he is a pathological liar, a racist, a xenophobe, a narcissist with a borderline personality disorder, a misogynist and a sexual abuser.

He has huge conflicts of interest with his business activities, which are unethical. He refuses to acknowledge that the Russians attacked our country in the 2016 election and has not punished them, and has done absolutely nothing to prevent this in the future; this makes him a traitor.

The Republican Party is so consumed with their agenda that tolerate him and do nothing to stand up to him. The republican members of Congress are not doing their constitutional duty by providing checks on his behavior. How can this party tolerate a president when one cannot believe anything that comes out of his mouth? How can this party not do anything to protect our national security in the next election, and not demand that the president do so as well?

What happened to the Republican Party that used to care a great deal about the nation’s deficit and its long-term effects on our children? I have been a long-term Republican, but this party no longer represents me. It has no spine or moral courage and has abandoned many positions it used to adhere to. I cannot in good conscience be a member of this party. I quit.
