Fountain Hills VFW Post 7507 will be hosting an Independence Day Open House and Ice Cream Social this coming Monday as a thank you to the community for your support to the Post during this year as we transition to our new Post Home.

The Ice Cream Social and Open House will be at the Post’s new home (and future Veterans Resource Center) at 9624 N Monterey Dr., from 4 to 6 p.m., Monday, July 4, just prior to the Town’s festivities and fireworks in Fountain Park.

The Ice Cream Social and Open House will be open to the general public at no charge. We invite everyone to come and to let us show off our new Post Home. We have completed phase I and a good share of phase II of the three-part build-out plan. We thank you for the encouragement and support from this fine community.

As Post Adjutant, I hope to see you there and to be able to serve you or to see a comrade serve you some ice cream. This will be a child and family-friendly event. From the VFW Post, you can easily proceed to the Town’s Fourth at the Fountain event, which starts at 6 p.m.
