Illinois Day this past Saturday at the Community Center was a huge success as a fundraiser for the River of Time Museum.

Many of the 500-plus attending won great raffle prizes generously provided by the following donors:

Boulders on Broadway, Chocofin Chocolatier, Crescent Crown Distributing, Desert Dave’s, Desert Canyon Golf Club, Discount Tire, Don & Charlie’s Restaurant, Euro Pizza, Fireside Grill, Fountain Fashions, Fountain Hills Times, Fry’s, McDonalds, Nello’s Chicago Style Pizzeria, Niro’s Gyros, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Paul’s Ace Hardware, Phil’s Filling Station, Pier One Imports, River of Time Museum, Rosati’s Authentic Chicago Pizza, Safeway, Sami’s Fine Jewelry, Senor Taco, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Sofrita, Southern Dunes Golf Club, Starbucks, Stonecreek Golf Club, Target, University of Illinois, Walgreens, We-Ko-Pa Golf Club and Wriglelyville Sports.

Special thanks to Phil’s Filling Station for obtaining and preparing the genuine Chicago hot dogs, to Crescent Crown Distributing for providing draft beer at cost, to the great band recruited by Debbie Fisher, to Andrea Devereaux for poster and banner design, and to all our volunteers who worked the event.

The River of Time Museum certainly appreciates this support, especially when everyone had such an enjoyable time.
