Regarding deporting the immigrants and their children…
We fully support B.J. Taylor’s letter to the editor of Oct. 28 and the position of Donald Trump which include the following:
• We are forced to pay for the support of immigrants and their children.
• Immigrants and their children should not be supported by the citizens of the United Sates. They should be deported to their nation of origin.
• American citizens are slaves to the immigrants.
We would reinforce these positions with the following observations:
• Repatriating immigrants born in the United States conflicts with the XIV amendment of the constitution which provides citizenship and equal rights to all persons born in this country. The constitution must be overridden.
• Trump’s proposal to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico at Mexico’s cost is consistent with ensuring our own well-being although it will result in hostility from our allies, decreased exports, and subsequent increased unemployment.
• Immigrants who are agricultural workers, Silicone Valley entrepreneurs, and our gardeners can be easily replaced by workers with similar skills and wages without influencing our well-being.
• The deportation of immigrants can be forced regardless of its violation of fundamental human rights, justice and the constitution. Presidential candidate Governor Kasich is incorrect when he states this proposal is neither implementable nor reasonable.
In conclusion, Taylor’s proposal that ALL immigrants, ALL their children, ALL their children’s children, and ALL their descendants and ALL predecessors, regardless of their citizenship, should be deported to their countries of origin should be implemented for us ALL.
