In Fountain Hills and beyond, let’s give back

The Fountain Hills Community Tax Credit Foundation (fhctcf.org) is a 501(c)(3) that helps community members who meet low-income guidelines established by the federal government and State of Arizona. Those helped include children in the Fountain Hills Unified School District, veterans, senior citizens and those living in the Fort McDowell community.

For 2024, individuals can receive an AZ tax credit up to $470 for their donation to FHCTCF; couples filing jointly can receive an AZ tax credit up to $938. An individual who owns an IRA and who is 70½ or older can also make tax-free Qualified Charitable Contributions (QCDs) from the IRA up to $105,000 this year. For those 73 or older, QCDs can count as one’s Required Minimum Distribution.

Instead of giving your money to Congress or the Legislature, why not donate to FHCTCF and help people who live in our community? Donating via a QCD is a smart financial move; consult your financial professionals for specifics.
