We saw you and your buddy in camo on Tuesday, Jan. 13, in McDowell Mountain Park backing to Fountain Hills, with your compound bows and arrows standing over a little fawn who was screaming in pain because of your amateurish shot (and “Big Game Hunter” that you are, there’s no doubt you shot this fawn as it was lying under a bush hiding waiting for its mother’s return).

Hunter, sportsman or sick monster….?
In your case, we go with sick monster.
We witnessed the final 10 minutes listening to the haunting cries of agony that carried through the neighborhood as you just stood there watching it die a slow death.
We then watched as you and your buddy flipped his little limp body over your back pack and took off with your masks on for fear of anyone recognizing you.
We’re not anti-hunting by any means but cannot leave unsaid that what you did was not “hunting,” it was torture. If you’re reading this you know who you are.
So, take your sick jollies, non-existent hunting skills and lack of sportsmanship out of our backyard – we, and all of our neighbors, are watching for you.
For everyone else, we know this was tough to read – it was even tougher to watch and hear. It is exactly this type of behavior that makes others anti-hunting.
