The Bible is the inspired Word of God to mankind. While the literal interpretation of the Bible may be a deal-breaker for Karla Dulic, many people find comfort and strength in the Bible, while finding the incorrect interpretation of progressive teachers, heretical.
Pastoring a church is a responsibility I take seriously. Michael Jones commented that critics of Felten are convinced they have “arrived.” There is nothing further from the truth as God continues to work in my life and He won’t finish until I leave this earth.
Felten, on the other hand, has determined that Jesus was not born of a virgin as the Bible teaches. His teaching contradicts the Bible, which makes me believe he thinks his word is more important than God’s word.

Felten, on the other hand, has determined that Jesus was not born of a virgin as the Bible teaches. His teaching contradicts the Bible, which makes me believe he thinks his word is more important than God’s word.
Phil Iversen commented that Felten’s critics are threatened by his comments. Felten’s comments are no threat to me, but they are offensive. Christians believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, as He said He was. He couldn’t be the Son of God, and the biological son of Joseph, or any other man, at the same time.
Does Felten have inside information that Isaiah didn’t understand when he prophesied that a virgin will give birth to Immanuel (God with us), in Isaiah 7:14?
I wanted to respond to Felten’s letter directly, but after reading the letter from Lisa Lawrence I realized that God used her to respond. I am a veteran who served proudly to protect our freedoms. I believe Felten has the freedom to voice his opinion, but I don’t believe he should pass himself off as a Christian since he denies the very foundation of our faith, that Jesus was born of a virgin, and that His Father is God.
