Introduction to meditation offered in Fountain Hills

Discover how meditation and yoga Nidra can help reduce stress, improve focus and enhance the overall quality of life.
This free class is designed to help beginners explore the benefits of meditation and learn techniques to incorporate mindfulness into daily lives.
Virginia Long, certified meditation and mindfulness instructor, will lead this class on Monday, Sept. 9, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Fountain Hills Community Center, 13001 La Montana Drive.
The class also teaches about the Meditation Aging Gracefully, Crystal Bowl and Ultimate Relaxation classes offered this fall.
The class is open to the public and Community Center membership is not required. Register by calling the Community Center at 480-816-5200.
