Our wonderful freedom of expression in America is in full effect in our great town. There have been lots of respectful opinions expressed, which is a tribute to us all, regarding the proposed primary property tax.

I decided to vote in favor after learning about why the additional funding is essential and how it will be used, and I hope you will do the same. I am convinced that our town needs our help to preserve and continue effective police and fire protection, fix ever-deteriorating streets and repair buildings that have suffered because of delayed maintenance far too long, which only results in additional costs the longer we wait.

I can’t think of a better investment of our money than to approve the primary property tax. Fountain Hills is a unique treasure of a community where we all have chosen to live and it’s well worth our care and support.
