I find it ironic that, in a small town like ours, the freedom of choice to do whatever you wish – sleep in, go hiking, fishing, piking, play with your children, even go to church on the one day for one hour – less than 200 or so people (at least half veterans) could find the time to pay thanks and honor to our veterans at a ceremony at our Veterans Memorial.
All past and present veterans gave. Some gave all! How sad.
