If not now, when?

From my experiences I have not seen a decrease in the cost of major purchases. Asphalt is an oil product; have oil prices gone down? Interest rates are now on the increase. Labor prices always increase. So what will this reconstruction cost us in 2016 or beyond if we don’t pass the bond this November?
Saguaro is one of the main entryways to Fountain Hills, our business district and the Fountain. Roads that are left to deteriorate give visitors, potential home buyers and new businesses a bad impression.
Our current council has made this a critical part of our town’s infrastructure, a top priority by putting a comprehensive pavement management program into place; now they need our support with a yes vote for the Saguaro Bond.
I believe for some, there is a trust issue with authorizing the tax and spending of over 8 million tax dollars. While I do understand this, I truly believe our town leaders know if they don’t do this with integrity, doing exactly what they say, they will lose our trust and support for any future projects.
I encourage you to vote yes for the Saguaro Bond. Complete your mail-in ballot when you receive it in mid-October. Don’t let this decision get buried on your desk.
