Jane Minnier

Jane D. Minnier, 86, passed away on Dec. 26, 2013, in Scottsdale. She was born on Sept. 7, 1927, in Ticonderoga, N.Y. to the late Earl and Claudia Dedrick.

She is survived by her sister, Marjorie Palmer, of Los Gatos, Calif.; her daughter and son-in-law, Gwen Minnier and Paul Sylvia of Fountain Hills; and her son, Doug Minnier of Flagstaff. Jane was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Frank Minnier, in 2011.

Jane graduated from Keuka College in 1947 and did her graduate work at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. In addition to being a wonderful mother, she had a very successful career as a financial aids administrator at SUNY Plattsburgh and ASU.

During her retirement, she was a tireless volunteer at the Chamber of Commerce in Fountain Hills, as well as being active with the Fountain Hills Library Association in the Library Resale Store.
