Janet Wrzesien was called to her heavenly home on Aug. 6, 2015 to join Jesus, her Savior, and her loved ones who went before her.
She was born on the north side of Chicago to her Polish immigrant parents, Alexander Sikora and Mary (Chmura) Sikora in 1937. She married a handsome young man she met at church, Martin J. Wrzesien, in 1956. They were blessed with three daughters, Lee Ann, Debra and Maria.
In 1978 they moved to Phoenix and settled in Fountain Hills in 1983. Her biggest joy in life came through her walk with Jesus and His Word, and in her time spent with family and friends.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Mary Chmura; her sister, Theresa (Frank) September; and nephew, David September.
Janet is survived by her husband, Martin J. Wrzesien; daughters, Lee Ann (Mark) Ferguson, Debra (Robert) Legge, Maria (Nick) Nejadeh; two brothers, Stanley and Joseph; her grandchildren, Melisa (J.P.) Schrage, Robin (Dennis) Bratcher, Matthew (Amanda) Legge, Lindsay (Adam) Zingg, Moriah Nejadeh, Addison (Marlee) Nejadeh, Bennet Nejadeh, Caleb Nejadeh; seven great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Frank September; and two nephews, Scott (Amanda) September and Mark (Julie) September, all in Arizona.
