62, of Fountain Hills passed away on Sept. 17, 2014 at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea with her husband of nearly 39 years, Jerry, at her side. She was born Feb. 28, 1952.
Jennie is survived by her father, David; mother, Suzanne; and sister, Sarah.
Jennie was a statistician and researcher. She was an active member of BPW/Arizona State, their representative to the Arizona Legislature and is a past president. Jennie was a board member of the BPW Foundation, which provided scholarships to women reentering the workforce. She was a steadfast advocate for all women's issues.
Jennie participated in many organizations including the Arizona Jewish Historical Society and the National Council of Jewish Women. Jennie was also a dedicated Diamondback fan and led a group that shared two season tickets.
Service and burial will take place at Mount Sinai Cemetery on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 10 a.m. Donations in Jennie’s name can be made to Behind the Scenes Charity (http://behindthescenescharity.org/bts_org.htm).
