Jim Morgan passed away on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 peacefully in his sleep.
Jim was born in San Luis Obispo, Calif. on Nov. 1, 1930.
Jim had a 34-year career with Honeywell, in Los Angeles and Phoenix, as a sales executive. Throughout his years with Honeywell he was awarded, many times, Top Sales Executive of the Year. Upon retirement he enjoyed traveling, gardening, tennis and reading.
Jim and his wife, Sharon moved to Fountain Hills in 1989. One of his proudest memories was that of being the first “1st Husband” while Sharon served as Mayor of Fountain Hills.
Jim is survived by wife, Sharon for 31 wonderful happy years; son, Matthew (Amy) Huntington Beach Calif.; daughters Ann (Maxwell) Bozeman Mont. and Mary Seattle Wash.; granddaughters, Morgan (Gaelen), Charly and great-granddaughter, Brynn.
Preceding him in death were his parents, sisters, late wife, and sons, Michael and Jimmy.
Jim’s sense of humor and quick wit will be missed by all who knew him.
Per Jim’s wishes a private, family only, service will be held at a later date.
